80/100: Meet Dave (Tähtivieras Dave)
Ihan perus Eddieleffa, viihdyttävä pläjäys. Ansaitsisi ehkä hieman korkeammat pojot kuin mitä sai IMDBssä.

Mystistä oli kuitenkin se, ettei Eddietä näkynyt ollenkaan elokuvan extroissa. Siis oikeasti, ollenkaan. Gag reel oli pari hassuttelua joltain eikiinnostakukatoion-näyttelijältä ja making offissa tuskin mainittiin koko miestä. Kaiken lisäksi Eddietä ei näkynyt missään kuvassa, ei edes varjon vertaa. Olivat onnistuneet tekemään dokumentin elokuvasta joka on pelkkää Eddietä ilman koko Eddietä.

Postasin tunteeni IMDB:n threadiin DVD Extras (Was anyone else noticing how little of Eddie Murphy there is on the dvd extras?) seuraavasti:

I did notice the same thing, I've seen a lot of Eddie's older and previous production and that is why I was baffled by the fact he is nowhere. I can understand that he might be a private person but this is just ridiculous. :D

My hubbie speculated Eddie didn't want to be in the making offs etc. because the movie kinda bombed. Maybe they didn't pay him enough or he has become stuck-up. Maybe he has become paranoid or what ever that he needs to be in control of his presence at all times.

I don't remember a movie in which Eddie was not featured in the gag reel. It can't be that he has got really rich in the last few years that he has the opportunity to demand these clauses to his contract. He has been making these kinda funny movies since .. I don't know when. :D It's Eddie Murphy, we Eddie-people don't mind if the movie is a hit or not.

Or maybe Shrek made him a superstar/multimillionaire/big man.

Anyhow it truly is a crying shame.
I'm a bit disappointed now. Why Eddie, why?
