This is a big deal.....New President....Obama..Parade...Speech..
Everyone I talked to today was all excited to watch the inauguration...
It just happened to be durning school hours..
They set up a BIG screen TV in our commons area so we all thought we had nothing to worry about..
HA HA HA....
We had a sub today in choir...it shouldnt be questioned that we watch this history!!
We had to BEG him to turn the TV on..then he takes his time and goes "Raise your hand if you don't want to watch the inauguration.." ARE YOU KIDDING ME??? Only a few dumb freshmen raised their hands.. "Okay now who does want to watch it?" Everybody else raises their hand & he takes the time to count out the 50 of us!
So then he says he cant figure out the TV....Umm power button?? We finally get the tv on and its past time to swear Obama in..MISSED IT..
I missed the swearing in and his speech...which I heard was good..
Luckily, at lunch we did get to see Bush move out and Obama on the stairs of the white house :)
So years from now when someone asks "where were you when you saw Obama's inauguration day/speech?"
I can say "At home on Youtube"
I'm off to watch the parade :)
