Doc Holliday - Rides AgainSunnuntai 18.12.2005 21:28

Doc Holliday
"Rides Again"

Released: 1981
Producer: Tom Allom
Style: Southern Rock

Doc Holliday was a cool back in the late 70’s delivering plain southern state melodic rock. The thing with all these bands from the southern parts of the US back in the lates 70’s / early 80’s was that they seldom kept their sound into one genre. There were rocker, some AOR, some soul and even some tougher country sometimes. Doc Holliday was no exception. If you do an own compilation with them from their albums you’ll have a killer album. Songs like “Don’t Stop Loving Me” is a perfect proof of that. And I don’t need to write it on each one of ROCK CANDY’s re-releases – the work from them is great and the booklet is a lovely novel about Doc Holliday’s career.

FOR FANS OF: 38 Special, Blackfoot, Marshall Tucker Band, The Outlaws and Allman Brothers
