The sun is shining as I make my way home
But the only thing I feel inside is a numbing cold

i open the door and I step inside
I turn on the light and see your picture on the wall
it reminds me of a soul I used to know and

I tried to kill the pain
I tore my heart out and throw it away
I screamed and called your name
I fell on my knees
and cursed the day you were taken away from me
It's eating me up. I'm hurting, I can't breath.
I wanna lay down by your side in the cemetary
where youe tomstone lies and die

I turn off the lights and I go to sleep but I'm afraid to dream
'cos in my dreams you're next to me
sleeping peacefully, breathing calmly
I wake up every day in the middle of the night
My sheets are wet. I scream out loud and hold down my head
But the dream won't go away and

You were the life in me
Without you I'm just an empty shell in this world
