Waking slowly from a fitful sleep.
Under a blanket, listening to one heartbeat.
This fluffy timepocket,
in the brightness of the day it won't last.
Even with your eyes closed,
the world is turning too fast.
Brushing teeth,
washing face,
skipping your morning coffee again,
all you ask is for me to fake a smile,
you, the pale reflection in the mirror.
