Hachiko - A Dog's Story on tositapahtumiin perustuva elokuva koirasta, joka odottaa kuolleen isäntänsä paluuta juna-asemalla aina kuolemaansa saakka. Hachiko oli aina saattanut isäntänsä juna-asemalle, sillä isännän täytyi mennä junalla töihin. Kerran Hachikon isäntä kuoli töissään sydänkohtaukseen. Isäntä ei enää tullutkaan takaisin, mutta Hachiko meni silti joka kerta uskollisesti odottamaan juna-asemalle, jos hänen isäntänsä palaisi. Yhtenä päivänä Hachiko löydetään kuolleena juna-asemalta siitä kohtaa, missä se isäntäänsä aina odotti.

Hachiko pääsi isäntänsä luo.
