Viestintäministeri Suvi Lindén (kok) paikkailee Aamulehden torstaisesta haastattelusta noussutta kohua.

"Kuvailin, väritin, kärjistin, yritin olla huumoripitoinen. Ilmeisesti sitä ei sallita."

Lindén myöntää mediakohun syntyneen liian kärjistetystä lausunnosta.

Lindén sanoi Aamulehden haastattelussa, että yritys voi vaatia työntekijäänsä vaikka riisumaan alasti, kun tämä lähtee työpaikalta.

"Joskus kuvailee asioita väärällä tavalla. Tätä lakia ei ilmeisesti kyetä käsittelemään neutraalisti ja objektiivisesti."

Lindén korostaa, että tietenkään työntekijää ei voi vaatia riisuutumaan. Hän korostaa keskustelleensa toimittajan kanssa yli tunnin sähköisen viestinnän tietosuojalain eli Lex Nokian sisällöstä.

Lindén sanoo pysyvänsä yhä lakiesityksen takana.

Ah, nyt se tuli! Se kuuluisa "Mä vaan läpällä heitin"-kortti yhdistettynä kritisoijien huumorintajuttomiksi leimaamiseen!

Ei tainnut juolahtaa Lindénille mieleen, että _vaikka_ hän olisi kärjistänyt asioita ja tarkoituksellisesti laskenut leikkiä, niin ei se silti olisi ollut järkevää, mikäli haluaa välttää mediakohun. Totta kai tuollaiseen lausuntoon tultaisiin tarttumaan, onhan se nyt niin vitun absurdi ja valheellinen! Miksi ylipäätään alkaa heittämään noin paskaa huulta silloin, kun kyseistä lakia (Lex Nokia) kritisoidaan?

Eroa jo, Lindén. Hanki koulutus. Tai edes muutama oikeasti hyvä komedia elokuvahyllyysi.

"Ensimmäinen huumausaineita käsittelevä oppitunti toimii täydellisenä esimerkkinä. Saimme tunnin verran kuulla kauhutarinoita huumeista, todella järkyttäviä juttuja.

Poistuttuamme luokasta ystäväni kääntyi minua kohti ja sanoi:

"Vau! Jos huumeet ovat noin pahoja ja ihmiset silti käyttävät niitä, niin niiden on TODELLA tunnuttava upeilta!"

Silloin tajusin, että hänen logiikkansa oli täydellinen, mutta täysin päinvastainen kuin mitä opettajat olivat näillä huumetarinoilla halunneet tuoda esille. Ystäväni lähtikin viipymättä etsimään huumeita, ja löysi ne."

Mikä aiheuttaa nuorten keskuudessa olevat huume-epidemiat?
Aggressiiviset huumeidenvastaiset kampanjat.

Esimerkkejä:

1. Alkoholi [1] [2] [3]

* Alkoholin kieltolain aikana nuoret käyttivät valtavat määrät alkoholia. Kieltolaki kelpuutettiin ja otettiin käyttöön "Pelastakaa lapset alkoholilta"-kampanjan myötä.

* Viiden vuoden sisällä alkoholiongelmaisten nuorten määrä sairaaloissa nousi pilviin.

* Koulut joutuivat perumaan lukuisia tanssiaisia, koska niin monet lapset tulisivat paikalle viskiä sisältävien taskumattien kera.

* Lapset joutuivat tämän myötä tekemisiin myös laittoman kaupan kanssa, mikä toi mukanaan omat lieveilmiönsä.

* Alkoholin säännöllisen juomisen alkamisen keski-ikä laski merkittävästi.

* Osa kieltolain tukijoista kääntyikin kieltolain vastustajiksi, koska heidän mukaansa kieltolaki teki alkoholin saannin nuorille helpommaksi kuin se oli koskaan ollutkaan. Alkoholin kieltolaki kumottiin "Pelastakaa lapset kieltolailta"-kampanjan myötä.

2. Liiman imppaus [4]

Liiman imppaus oli periaatteessa tuntematon viihdeaktiviteetti Yhdysvalloissa -- ennen vuotta 1959. Vuoteen 1960 mennessä tuhansia lapsia oli pidätetty liiman imppauksesta, vaikka mitään lakeja liiman imppausta vastaan ei ollut olemassakaan.

Mitä sitten tapahtui vuonna 1959? Median julkaisemat lukuisat kauhistuttavat tarinat liiman imppauksesta herättivät lasten mielenkiinnon. Lapset kokivat nämä kauhutarinat houkuttimena kokeilla liiman imppausta.

3. Amfetamiini ja LSD [5] [6] [7]

1960-luvulla amfetamiinin ja LSD:n käyttö nousi samalla tavalla -- välittömästi kampanjoiden (jotka varoittivat näiden huumeiden vaaroista) jälkeen. Yksi merkittävimmistä aihetta koskeva tutkimus päätyi lopputulokseen: "Varoitus toimii houkuttimena".
