povarissa poltti

Nuoruus rämäpäinen
jonnekin kauas kai pakoon loikki
koulujen, työpaikkojen poikki
ja eka kerta hätäinen
on vain muisto etäinen

Ei elo maailman julmassa sylissä
ole hyvä, ei lämmin, ei hellä
täällä ikuisen talven kylissä
elämme kohtalon kämmenellä
Ja kun kunnian kukko kiekaisee
sen laulun, joka on iäisin
katson peiliin ja katson menneeseen

Nyt on kuviot uudet
nyt on rahaa vaikka muille jakaa
ja jaetaankin, kun firma takaa
