Mä kellarista löysin kerran oudon päähineen
Aasinhatun harmaan papalleni kuuluneen
Kartion tuon karvaisen ja pitkäkorvaisen
Ja päätin, että siitä pienen rallin murjaisen


Ol kerran pieni kansakoulu syrjäkylällä
Mik' karttaankin on merkitty vain lyijykynällä
Ja siihen opinahjoon isoisä laitettiin
Vaikka sitä naapurissa ääneen naurettiin


No hitaanlainen oppimaan on vaari poloinen
Kun joutuin armas aika saapui suvi suloinen
Hän harrastaa ei ehtinyt ees kuorolaulua
